Krishna P. Paudel is a professor and department chairman of the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at Texas Tech University in the USA. He delivered a talk with the theme of “Migration, Remittance, and Agricultural Productivity” to the Centre for Economic Development and Administration(CEDA) of Tribhuvan University at Kirtipur on 15 December 2025.

In the course of this presentation, Dr. Paudel highlighted to focus attention on the absolute need in Nepal for improving workers’ efficiency and agriculture sector productivity, developing human capital, and productively using remittances in important sectors like agriculture. Engaging discussions took place between academicians and participants in this particular academic session.

The closing remarks were delivered by the Executive Director of CEDA, Arjun Kumar Baral, who showed his sincere appreciation to Dr. Paudel for presenting a thought-provoking presentation and commended the participants for their active engagement during the meeting session.
